My journey to a healthy, happy body was not an easy one. It took many years of failed diets and never feeling good enough before I finally worked out the real reasons I couldnât manage my way back to balanced health.
I developed some mild digestive issues in my mid 20's, Bloating. Stinky gas. Uncomfortable digestion. Tiredness. Skin breakouts. UGH.Â
My âalways-onâ dieting mindset drove my every decision, trying to fix what I thought was âwrongâ with me, obsessing over how far from perfect I was. But my physical issues had nothing to do with food.Â
My body was repressing deep emotional trauma.
The digestive issues started after my husbandâs first affair. Deeply betrayed, I wasn't equipped to process the pain. So I buried it and tried to banish it from my mind altogether.
I numbed my pain with extreme workaholism and obsessively controlling my diet.
But the body keeps score.
No matter how many therapy sessions I went to, I still felt stuck. Â I committed to do whatever it took to free myself, wanting to be a much healthier role model for my daughters on how to care for their bodies.Â

In 2020, after experiencing yet another betrayal, left my marriage. It was in this state of total  breakdown of my identity and lifestyle that I became a student of life once again.
Over the next few years, I immersed myself in studying several holistic healing modalities: Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), Time Line TherapyÂŽ, Hypnotherapy, Somatic Healing, Breathwork, the Self Holding Method and Spinal Attunement.Â
I went deep into the study of human anatomy, the meridian system, the emotional body and the human energetic field.Â
After years of total immersion in this field, I finally pieced together the root of what creates weight gain and digestive issues.
In all this unlearning, I came back to myself. Â
